2021 Albemarle County Fair.

There’s something pretty incredible about county fairs, their communities, and the youth who grow up alongside it all.

As every organization unfolds from the COVID pandemic, events and activities are finding new ways to transition.

This year the 2021 Albemarle County Fair will focus solely on the exhibition and sale of livestock. Year after year, this agricultural program has long been a Fair tradition, and it is the foundation in helping us move forward.

The Albemarle County Fair Board presents the Albemarle County Fair Livestock Exhibition and Sale Friday, July 30, and Saturday, July 31. The Albemarle County Fair will be held in outdoor space including the pavilion and grounds of James Monroe’s Highland located in Charlottesville. This event promises traditional family fun in a historic setting.

The Board of Directors invites you to join the community to celebrate our rural heritage set in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Albemarle County.

As Fair volunteers, we work hard throughout the entire year to ensure each fair is better than the last. Why do we do this? To continue an agricultural tradition that brings the entire community together. The Fair’s Mission is to provide the Region with events that entertain, educate, showcase, and celebrate the unique human, natural, community, and agricultural resources of the Greater Charlottesville area. We are so very proud to be a part of this heritage.

The Albemarle County Fair provides a variety of new experiences. The Fair could not be successful each year without the support of you, local businesses, and our community leaders. Please consider making a donation and becoming a Friend of the Fair.

We look forward to your continued friendship and seeing you at the 2021 Albemarle County Fair!
